Piper

Piper is a 6-year-old, 55lb, female German Shepherd Dog with a beautiful black and red coat. She came to us with her companion, Maverick 2.0, when their owner sadly passed away in December. Piper is a bundle of energy who loves to play and chase her ball or toys. She’s incredibly friendly and happy, but can get a little mouthy when she’s excited, so we’d prefer she go to a home without small children. She's happiest when she has something to carry in her mouth.

Ideal Home

Piper would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard. To ensure her safety and happiness, we are looking for a home without other animals or small children.

Ongoing Health

Piper is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Piper can be a bit mouthy when excited due to her exuberant personality. Consistent positive reinforcement and redirection to toys will help her learn to manage this.
