Sumantra is a friendly and resilient young male Akita and Pit Bull Terrier mix who was found as a stray and is ready to start his next chapter in a loving home. Despite his uncertain past, he has shown himself to be social and people-oriented, happily engaging with those he meets. He was seen with another dog.

Sumantra would do best as the only dog in the home due to a history of behaviors incompatible with a multi-dog household.

Sumantra is still learning his leash manners and can pull strongly, so he'll benefit from continued training and guidance. He also showed some restlessness in the car, but with patience and structure, he has great potential to settle in.
