Moose

Moose is a 9-month-old shepsky with striking blue eyes and a personality as big as his heart! He's affectionate, energetic, and always ready for an adventure with his favorite people. Moose was rescued from a high-kill shelter and is learning the ropes in his foster home. He's a smart cookie who loves to please and is very food-motivated, making training a joy. He enjoys doggie daycare and is loved by everyone there. Moose is eager to be your shadow, whether you're relaxing at home or out exploring. He'd do wonderfully as an only pet, soaking up all the attention, but he also gets along well with other animals.

Ideal Home

Moose would thrive in an active home with a family who understands he's still a young dog learning about the world. A work-from-home or stay-at-home parent would be ideal to help him with housebreaking. A yard that is adequately and fully fenced is a must; we do not accept electric or underground fences.

Ongoing Health

Moose is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and is kept on heartworm and flea preventatives.

Training & Support

Moose will benefit from continued training to help him build good habits. Guidance and appropriate management around food and toys with other dogs will help him succeed.

Transportation

Moose is being fostered in Houston, Texas. He can be transported to other states if it's the best home for him. An out-of-state transport fee of $200 to $350 may apply depending on location.
