Zeke is a 60lb sweetheart who’s finally learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and free. After a rough start to life, this 6-year-old black and white Lab mix is ready to leave the past behind and step into a brighter future with you. Once he feels comfortable, Zeke forms deep bonds with his people. He’s sweet, silly, and a total goofball — known for hopping around the yard and zooming like a puppy. Whether he’s out on a walk or lounging after the beach, Zeke is all about connection — he just needs someone willing to go at his pace, earn his trust, and show him he’s finally home. He can be nervous with new people, especially early on — but with time, patience, and love, he opens up into a loyal and loving companion who just wants to be by your side.

Ideal Home

Zeke is looking for a quiet, loving home with structure and routine. He needs a secure yard to safely enjoy his zoomies and cannot live in an apartment. He can have kids 16 and older, but no cats. He does not need to live with another dog.

Ongoing Health

Zeke is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He is currently eating a raw diet.

Training & Support

Zeke is house-trained and crate-trained. He walks well on a leash and is not reactive to people or dogs. He is not destructive, not a barker, and not a flight risk. He is not food aggressive. He can be handled and touched. He rides well in the car.
