Hayley

Hayley is a sweet, sable and white Sheltie girl who is around 12 years old and is looking for a quiet retirement home. She currently weighs 31 lbs, and her foster family is helping her continue on her diet plan to reach a healthier weight. Hayley came to rescue because her previous owners could no longer care for her. She is a very loving senior who enjoys affection and gentle companionship.

Ideal Home

Hayley would love a home where she can relax and be pampered. She prefers a fenced yard for safety and ease of access, but may be okay with short leash walks if a yard isn't an option.

Ongoing Health

Hayley has arthritis, and adopters should be prepared to help her up if she has trouble getting up from slick floors. She is currently taking a few maintenance medications to help manage her arthritis pain. She is up to date on all her vet care and recently had her teeth cleaned.

Training & Support

Hayley is crate trained and housetrained. She gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children.
