Smokey

Meet Smokey, a charming 2-year-old male Cane Corso/Weimaraner mix who came to us as a stray. This 60-pound pup is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and bursting with love to give! Smokey enjoys a good balance of playtime with his canine friends and cozy couch cuddles. He's a smart and quick learner, incredibly sweet, and just wants to be part of a family. Smokey is a total couch potato who's more than happy to hang out and relax with you all day.

Ideal Home

Smokey would thrive in a home without cats. He would do best in a low-traffic home due to his shyness with new people. Smokey would also benefit from a home where he isn't left alone for extended periods, as he experiences some separation anxiety. He would do wonderfully with someone who works from home or is only away for a few hours a day. A house would be preferable to an apartment.

Training & Support

Smokey is fully potty trained. While he's not a fan of crates and will vocalize his displeasure, he doesn't destructive when left to free roam. He can be a little nervous and bark out of excitement around strangers but is easily redirected. He might pull slightly on the leash initially but settles into a calm walk. With his gentle nature and shyness with new people, Smokey would benefit from patience and a calm environment.
