Kelso

Kelso's story is heartbreaking, but despite a rough start, he's a truly wonderful dog who is ready for his forever family. He was adopted as a puppy and then sadly abandoned at a veterinary clinic just before Christmas. Thankfully, he's now safe and looking for a loving home that will cherish him. Kelso has lived successfully with young children, other dogs, and even chickens! He's house-trained and kennel-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is an easygoing companion who loves everyone he meets. He knows his basic commands and brings so much joy. Kelso enjoys walks, lounging indoors or outdoors, and most of all, spending time with his people. He's not asking for much – just a family who will love him and give him the stable, happy home he deserves.

Kelso would thrive in a home where he can be a cherished member of the family. He has a history of getting along well with children, other dogs, and even chickens, so a home with a mix of companions would likely be a great fit.

Kelso is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and microchipped. He is also heartworm negative.

Kelso is house-trained, kennel-trained, and walks well on a leash. He knows his basic commands.
