Hope can be a bit uncomfortable in new situations, so a patient and experienced Akita owner will be key to helping her learn to trust. She's looking for a peaceful sanctuary where she can truly relax and be herself.

Ideal Home

Hope would thrive in a home where she can be the only pet. She would also do best in a household with no children, allowing her to feel secure and build confidence at her own pace.

Ongoing Health

Hope has undergone a preventative gastropexy, also known as a stomach tack, to help reduce the risk of gastric torsion.

Training & Support

Because Hope can be uncomfortable in new situations, a patient and understanding approach will be essential. Providing a predictable and calm environment will greatly support her in learning to trust and feel secure.
