About Tango the Tiny dancer
If you're looking for a best friend with the most infectious smile and a heart full of sweetness, you've found him in Tango the Tiny Dancer! This charming boy is the total package – loyal, playful, incredibly affectionate, and a total goofball with those adorable pittie-toes that will win you over instantly. We believe Tango is a Boxer/Pittie mix, around 1 year old and weighing about 45 pounds. He has a perfectly compact body and a face you'll fall in love with.
Tango is a social butterfly who has never met a stranger he doesn't like! He has a way of making everyone feel like an old friend. He's incredibly motivated by treats, and you'll quickly become the center of his universe once he realizes you have them. His foster mom's favorite thing about him is how he'll snuggle into her lap, gazing at her like she's the most important person in the world. He is an exceptional cuddler and would thrive in a home where he can shower you with affection.
Tango is a dog's dog and has lived harmoniously with a pack of four pups, from dominant elders to energetic youngsters. He’s a social pro, capable of reading the room and matching energy levels. He plays respectfully, knows when to chill, and can hold his own during a good romp. He even mingles like a champ at a doggy daycare with dozens of other dogs, making friends with Dobermans and other pitties. He particularly shines around dogs his size or playful puppies who enjoy a good game of chase. He would do best in a home with another medium-energy dog to share his days with. After playtime, Tango knows how to settle down and relax, enjoying quiet one-on-one time. He’d make a fantastic adventure buddy, followed by cozy evenings on the couch. He walks beautifully on leash, making him the perfect companion for park visits, patio outings, or trail adventures.
At home, Tango is crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night. He would do best in a home with a yard for zoomies and can easily see him thriving with older, dog-savvy children who will adore him as much as he'll adore them. If you have questions about how Tango interacts with specific age groups, please let us know, and we'll be happy to find out! Cats, however, are not his preference; he's all about the people and his canine pals. Tango doesn't need much to be happy – just a little space to play, a lap to lean on, and someone to share his big heart with. He truly embodies the spirit of man's best friend and is ready to be everyone's best friend.

Tango would thrive in a home with a yard and would do best with older, dog-savvy children. He would also do well with another medium-energy dog. Tango is not a fan of cats.
