Shadow

Shadow is a sweet 7-year-old Pittie Mix who weighs around 50 lbs. He was surrendered to a veterinary clinic and then came to us, where it was clear he had been through a lot. When he first arrived, Shadow was understandably fearful and shy, not wagging his tail or even barking. It was evident that his trust had been broken. However, after a few weeks in our care, Shadow has blossomed into a much happier and more loving companion! He's fully vetted, up-to-date on vaccines, and on monthly Simparica Trio. He's currently enjoying Purina ProPlan.

Ideal Home

Shadow would thrive in a home that can provide him with lots of quality time and positive affirmation. A large, fenced-in area where he can run and play freely is essential. He needs a patient owner who understands his past and is committed to taking the time to earn his trust and help him continue to feel secure.

Ongoing Health

Shadow is fully vetted, up-to-date on all his vaccinations, and receives monthly Simparica Trio for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Shadow is still learning to fully trust, so patience and positive reinforcement will be key to his continued success. His past experiences have made him a bit reserved, but with consistent love and understanding, he is blossoming wonderfully.
