Meet Sheba, a 2-year-old, 45-pound Norwegian Elkhound mix with movie-star looks and a heart of gold! Sheba was a stray who proved to be a loving mama, raising six puppies to adoption. Now, it's her turn to find her forever family. Sheba is a professional hug recipient who enjoys leisurely strolls and spending quality time with her people. She has experience living with older teenagers and has cohabited with cats, a hamster, and other dogs. She's a social butterfly and would do well in a home with a canine companion, though a meet-and-greet will be required to ensure a smooth introduction. Sheba's unique, captivating eyes—one blue and one brown—make her as beautiful as she is. She loves her stuffed toys and treats them with care, often entertaining herself with her plush pals.

Ideal Home

Sheba would thrive in a home where she can receive plenty of cuddles and attention. A secure, fenced yard is preferred to allow her to safely explore and zoom around, as she has shown a tendency to be an escape artist.

Ongoing Health

Sheba is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped. As a Norwegian Elkhound mix, she has a beautiful double coat that requires regular brushing and will shed seasonally.

Training & Support

Sheba is crate trained and is currently working on her house training. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, she's expected to master this quickly.
