Jay is absolutely thriving in his foster home, and it's clear that other dogs are the center of his universe. He adores his doggy friends and lights up the second he sees them, with the cutest little play hops that are sure to make you laugh. His favorite activity is playing tug-of-war with his foster sister, and he gently paws and kisses her awake each morning to start their day of play. Jay also loves toys of all kinds and can entertain himself by creating his own games of fetch. He enjoys playing fetch with his people, lounging in the sunshine, and exploring a fenced backyard, which is a must for him. Jay has an impressive recall and enjoys supervised off-leash adventures. Despite his playful nature, Jay is also easygoing and can quietly nap while his foster works or follow her around while she gardens, enjoying just being near his favorite people. He can be a little shy when meeting new people or in unfamiliar environments, appreciating a gentle introduction and patience. Once he feels safe, his affectionate personality shines through, and he'll shower you with cuddles and kisses. Jay is crate trained, potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, knows how to sit, shares treats well with other dogs, and has excellent social skills with dogs of all sizes. He has also met cats and, with guidance, would do best with a dog-savvy cat and another dog in the home.
