Zeus

Zeus is a handsome 8-year-old Pit Bull Boxer mix who is patiently waiting for a family to call his own. He arrived at the shelter in rough shape, suffering from a painful skin rash, but with proper care and love, he healed and is now ready for a fresh start. Zeus is currently residing at Pattie's Waggin' Tails Senior Sanctuary and is eager to find his forever home. He would thrive with an active family, especially those who work remotely or are self-employed, or perhaps on a farm. We are truly hoping to find the perfect active home for this incredible boy, as a senior sanctuary isn't the ideal long-term environment for him.

Ideal Home

Zeus would do best in a home with an active family. Older children are recommended due to his energetic nature. A securely fenced-in yard is a must for Zeus to safely play and explore.

Ongoing Health

Zeus has a heart murmur and requires daily medication. The sanctuary is willing to offer financial assistance for his medication costs to his adopter if needed.

Training & Support

Zeus is a jumper, especially when excited to greet new people. He needs to be leashed when visitors arrive, as he doesn't realize his own strength when showing his affection. With consistent structure and a handler who can manage his exuberance, Zeus will blossom into an incredibly loyal and affectionate companion.
