About Diesel

Hi, I'm Diesel! I'm a handsome 9-year-old Standard Poodle mix weighing about 60 pounds. I was a bit of a mess when I first arrived, but a good shave and a bath later, I'm looking and feeling like a brand new dog! Don't let my age fool you; I'm sweet, playful, and love to romp around with my foster siblings. I'm house and crate trained, and I walk well on a leash.

Ideal Home

I'm a pretty active guy who loves to run and play! While I don't require a fenced yard since I'm leash-trained, I do need a family that can keep up with my exercise needs. I might chase a cat if it runs, but I'm not likely to hurt it.

Ongoing Health

I was already neutered when I came to rescue. My teeth needed a professional cleaning, which has now been done. I'm heartworm negative and up-to-date on all my vaccinations and preventatives. I will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks to keep my coat in tip-top shape.

Training & Support

I'm a good boy who enjoys being groomed. I'm house and crate trained and walk nicely on a leash.
