Buttercup

Buttercup is a sweet gem who arrived with a transport of animals from Kabul, Afghanistan. She was found at one month old and taken in by another rescue before making her way to us. She's timid and takes time to settle in, but once she trusts you, she loves affection. Buttercup is learning to enjoy walks, a warm bed, and a full belly, and she's soaking up all the lessons!

Ideal Home

Buttercup needs a patient family who will give her time to decompress and adjust to her new surroundings. She is currently living with another dog and is learning to enjoy their company, but she would also be content as an only pet where she can have all the attention.

Ongoing Health

Buttercup has had a recent vet visit and is in good health.

Training & Support

Buttercup is still learning to feel secure in a home environment and is working with her foster and trainer to become more comfortable with other dogs. She is enjoying learning about nice long walks and all the joys of a loving home.

• You must be 25 years of age to adopt.
• All applications are subject to review and approval.
• A tax-deductible adoption donation is required prior to adoption day.
• Misleading or inaccurate information on the application will result in denial of adoption.
• Incomplete applications will not be processed.

Transporation

Buttercup is currently in the Northeast and may require travel if approved for adoption.
