Silas

Silas is a charming Border Collie mix, approximately 6 months old and weighing between 20-35#. He's expected to reach a full-grown size of 50-60#. Silas and his sibling, Clover, were rescued from a high-kill shelter and are now seeking loving foster or foster-to-adopt homes. These pups are full of energy and would love to be part of an active family!

Ideal Home

Silas would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of exercise, socialization, and training. He's a puppy and likely to be good with children, other dogs, and cats. Homes must be within 80 miles of Adams, NY.

Ongoing Health

Silas has had his initial vet check and is current on vaccines, dewormings, and flea/tick medication. He has also been spayed/neutered. If you choose to adopt, we recommend establishing care with your own veterinarian.

Training & Support

As a puppy, Silas will need consistent training and socialization to help him grow into a well-behaved adult dog. He will likely benefit from basic obedience classes and continued positive reinforcement.

• An adoption donation of $500 is requested if you choose to adopt. Fostering is free.
• All family members, including any resident dogs, must meet Silas before adoption.

Transporation

Silas is located in Adams, NY. He can be transported within an 80-mile radius of Adams, NY. All foster-to-adopt pets must be brought to our veterinary office in Adams for any necessary care until adoption. All pets must be viewed in person prior to adoption; animals will not be shipped to their new homes.
