Flacko

Meet Flacko! He's an 8-month-old, 40lb German Shepherd Dog mix who is a certified good boy and ready to win your heart. Flacko is a bundle of energy and affection, loving people and other dogs. He even tries his best to befriend the foster cat, though he might be a bit too enthusiastic for some feline friends! Flacko is a quick learner who just wants to please, and he's eager to find his forever person to share his life with.

Ideal Home

Flacko would thrive in a home with an experienced adopter who can help him navigate the world with confidence. He enjoys playing with other dogs, ranging from 15-60lbs, and is great at reading their cues and respecting boundaries. He also gets along wonderfully with the foster's 10-year-old nephew and would likely enjoy a human sibling to play with. However, he is still working on his puppy manners, including jumping and pulling on a leash, so he will need supervision around smaller children.

Flacko is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Flacko is house and crate trained. He is working on his puppy manners, specifically jumping and pulling on a leash, and would benefit from continued training and supervision in these areas. An experienced adopter will be best suited to help him continue to learn and grow.

Transporation

Flacko is currently in Houston, TX. He can be transported to approved adopters once a placement is found. Transports run every few weeks.
