Tilly Willy is a potato, a baby hippo, and pure love all rolled into one! Affectionately nicknamed Ms. Beefy, this short and stocky bundle of joy is built for cuddles. With her big puppy-dog eyes, squishy face, and a happy-go-lucky personality, she brings smiles to everyone she meets. Tilly truly adores people and makes her humans feel like the most important part of her day. She's approximately 3 years old, weighs around 55 lbs, and is believed to be an American Bully, though breed and age cannot be guaranteed with rescue. She's a "small big dog" - short, stocky, squishy, and perfect for snuggling. Tilly is incredibly sweet, forming deep bonds with her people and becoming their best friend, shadow, and biggest fan. She's been exposed to a busy toddler and multiple children under 9, handling them all with patience, gentleness, and happiness. While she might offer a quick, short-lived jump when greeting new people, she responds well to gentle corrections and learns boundaries quickly. Her tail, however, has a mind of its own and wags with enthusiastic abandon!
Ideal Home
Tilly is a wonderfully adaptable dog who enjoys a home with a loving family. She's been fantastic with children of all ages and would likely do well in a home with or without them, as long as they are kind and respectful.
Ongoing Health
Tilly is up-to-date on all her vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea/heartworm prevention, and has been spayed and microchipped.
Training & Support
Tilly is crate-trained, house-trained, and has excellent house manners. She walks well on a leash, though she might pull slightly when excited by squirrels. She is not destructive and prefers to stay close to her people. While she occasionally plays with toys, her preference is for affection. She's a foodie and enjoys snacks, but has great manners around children and food.

Transporation
Tilly is currently located in the Houston area. Transport is available nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A surcharge of $87 applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
