Ideal Home

Vera needs a home with a fenced-in yard and no children due to her herding instincts. She requires a home where she can be the queen of her castle and needs to be the only pet, as she has no experience with other dogs.

Training & Support

Vera is potty and crate trained and does well when left alone outside of her crate. She is fearful of strangers and requires slow introductions or to be crated when guests are over. She responds well to an e-collar, and continued use is recommended, even if just on vibrate. Vera can be a bit stubborn and tries to be a "boss lady," but with patience and continued training, she will reward you with immense love. Her new adopter must agree to attend private training sessions with Nick at Critical Canine Development, which her foster mom will sponsor.
