Sweetest Sawyer

Sawyer is a darling gentleman with a heart as sweet as the white marking on his head! Don't let his "senior" status fool you; this sweet boy is only estimated to be 7-9 years old and is full of life. He can be a little unsure in new situations, but he is extremely good-natured and has been fostered successfully with a toddler and other young children. Sawyer loves other dogs and lives harmoniously with two cats. His foster family describes him as pretty perfect, and we're honestly shocked he hasn't found his forever home yet!

Ideal Home

Sawyer would thrive in a home where he can feel secure. He needs to be closely monitored when outdoors in new environments until he's settled, and his foster family recommends this regardless.

Ongoing Health

Sawyer is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Sawyer can be a bit of a "chicken" in new situations, especially when going through doors into unfamiliar places. He did escape his yard shortly after arriving at his foster home. He needs a secure environment and patient introduction to new places and experiences.
