Robinhood is a 14-week-old male Chihuahua/Terrier mix, currently weighing 4 pounds, with an estimated DOB of March 2026. He was found abandoned with his nine siblings in Houston and is now in a foster home in Austin, Texas. Robinhood is a confident, playful, and spirited puppy who loves to wrestle and tumble. Once playtime is over, he transforms into a loving snuggle bug, eager for affection. He's a brave and social pup who is learning about the world and will need a family dedicated to helping him grow into a well-mannered adult.
Ideal Home
Robinhood will likely do well with children, cats, and other dogs, provided any introductions are done appropriately and supervised. It's important that any resident pets are gentle and experienced with very small dogs due to Robinhood's tiny size. A home where someone is present most of the time is ideal, as he cannot be left alone for extended periods. Homes where individuals work outside the home for more than four hours at a time will not be considered unless another adult is available to provide care during the day.
Ongoing Health
As his exact breed mix and parentage are unknown, his adult size and potential breed-specific health concerns are also unknown. Adopters should be prepared for the unexpected as he grows.
Training & Support
Robinhood is still working on potty and crate training. His new family should be prepared to provide consistent training using positive reinforcement and frequent potty breaks, along with patience. Puppies thrive with structure, routine, and supervision.
