Sioux ("Sue")

Sioux, a sweet and silly Lab/hound mix girl, was born in late June 2022 and is ready to find her forever family! Weighing around 60 pounds, she's likely fully grown and has a wonderfully friendly personality. She's quite affectionate and has a particular fondness for peanut butter, making training a treat! Sioux did wonderfully with crate training during her recovery and is a joy to be around.

Ideal Home

Sioux would thrive in a home with a large fenced yard where she can happily sniff, explore, and zoom to her heart's content. She has not been introduced to young children or cats, so a home without them would be best.

Ongoing Health

Sioux has fully recovered from her spay surgery and is up-to-date on all her vaccinations. She's on monthly flea and heartworm prevention and recently had a negative fecal and heartworm test.

Training & Support

Sioux is still working on leash walking, as she loves to explore and sometimes chooses her own direction. She will need continued training in this area, but she will potty on leash.
