Penny

Penny has blossomed wonderfully during her time with us! She started out a bit timid, but her curiosity has blossomed, and she's learned that people mean wonderful things like treats and affection. Penny is friendly, and it appears she is crate-trained. While she might be a little shy when she first arrives in a new home, she'll quickly warm up and show you her sweet personality once she feels safe and loved. Penny came to us from southwestern Virginia with her sister, Mouse, and their suspected mother, Mindy.

Ideal Home

Penny would do best in a home where she can continue to build her confidence. Given her initial shyness, a patient and understanding environment will be key to her continued success.

Ongoing Health

Penny is a spayed female and currently weighs 16 pounds.

Training & Support

Penny appears to be crate-trained and is friendly once she settles in. She may need a little time to adjust to new surroundings, so continued positive reinforcement will help her thrive.

Transporation

Penny is located at the SPCA of Northern Virginia in Arlington, VA. We are able to transport pets to the DC metro area.
