Meet Sugar! This adorable Heeler pup was born on January 31, 2026. Sugar is a sweet girl who is working on her housetraining and is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion. As with all puppies, she's learning to navigate the world, which includes nipping and scratching as she explores. She's still too young for heartworm testing, but will be spayed and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations before she heads to her forever home.
Ideal Home
Adopting a puppy is a big commitment! Sugar will need a home that understands the lifestyle changes that come with a young dog. She cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time. Puppy-proofing your home will be essential. If you have small children, please consider if they can handle a puppy who may nip or scratch as she learns.
Ongoing Health
Sugar will be spayed and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to adoption. All vaccinations required after adoption are the adopter's responsibility. She is too young for heartworm testing at this time.
Training & Support
Sugar is currently working on housetraining and will need continued guidance and patience. Puppy training will be incredibly important for her development, and her future family will need to dedicate time to this.
