Meet Milburn!
This adorable 1-year-old Norfolk Terrier weighs just 10 pounds, but his heart is full of love and curiosity. Milburn's journey started when a kind Good Samaritan found him as a stray. After making his way to us, he's learned what it means to feel safe, loved, and at home. Milburn loves spending time outdoors and exploring the world around him. He can be startled by loud noises, so he'll need a secure yard or a family that's careful with doors and gates while he continues building his confidence. Once he knows he's home, though, he's happiest staying close to his people. He's currently working on his potty training and leash manners, and with consistency, positive reinforcement, and confidence-building, he's sure to catch on quickly. Milburn is eager to please and has already shown how adaptable he can be. One of Milburn's best qualities is how well he gets along with everyone! He's been thriving in a foster home with lots of other dogs, has done well around cats, and would be equally happy in a home with or without children. He is probably best not with toddlers, as he can be mouthy. Whether you're looking for a companion for your current pets or a best friend to join your family, Milburn is ready to fit right in.
Ideal Home
Milburn would thrive in a home where he feels secure and can continue building his confidence. A family that's mindful of loud noises and keeps doors and gates secured will be ideal. He would do well in a home with or without children, but due to his tendency to be mouthy, a home without toddlers is preferred. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
Ongoing Health
Milburn is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He has been neutered.
