About April Bandera

Meet April! This 8-month-old, 32 lb sweetheart is the perfect blend of playful puppy energy and gentle affection. We believe she's a pit/lab mix, but her most notable trait is her loving and tender personality. April is incredibly sweet-natured with a soft, submissive demeanor. She's doing great with the larger dogs in her foster home, happily following their lead and being part of the pack. While she can be a little shy when first meeting new people, she blossoms with a little time and patience, rewarding your kindness with full-body tail wags that will melt your heart. Her favorite things include soft toys, squeaky toys, cozy naps after playtime, and gentle snuggles once she knows you. April is at a wonderful age to build a strong bond with her forever family, and she thrives with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement.

Ideal Home

April is looking for a family ready to guide her as she grows with structure, patience, and positive training.

Ongoing Health

April is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

We do require adopters to commit to crate training, which helps set her up for success with potty training and confidence.
