Marlow is a 15-month-old, 75 lb Border Collie/Lab mix with a personality as vibrant as her energy level! She's a super friendly girl who truly lives life to the fullest. Every day with Marlow is filled with laughter thanks to her hilarious antics, like doing somersaults on her toys – and sometimes even the couch! She's not exactly a couch potato; playtime is her favorite time, and it should never end! She is kid and dog-friendly and enjoys having canine friends. She also enjoys chasing our feline friends and can be a bit of a goofball around kids, so she may need to brush up on her manners with very young children. Marlow is not fond of sharing her toys or food with other pups and can be a bit protective, so she eats in her crate. She is not protective of toys, food, or people with humans. Marlow is incredibly smart and learns quickly. She knows commands like SIT, LAY DOWN, GO TO BED, COME, EASY, and DROP IT. She’ll let you know when she needs to go out by ringing bells on the sliding glass door or barking. She has no separation anxiety, storm anxiety, or other behavioral issues. Marlow is house-trained and sleeps in her crate at night or when home alone. She's also a great traveler and loves car rides! She does pull a little on the leash but is manageable. Marlow is loyal and loves being with her family. She has a healthy appetite and loves her meals. She needs to be told "EASY" when receiving a treat, as she can be gentle with direction. She is quiet unless something catches her attention outside, at which point she'll alert you. Marlow has a high prey drive (about an 8 out of 10) and will chase birds, their shadows, and cats. While she chases cats, she doesn't hurt them, but she has killed chickens. She’s not a fan of being brushed and isn't much of a daytime snuggler, preferring affection at night or in bed, though she does give plenty of kisses first thing in the morning. Marlow is a master at annihilating her toys and will eat the pieces, so tough toys and supervision are an absolute must. She does not chew on furniture, clothing, or anything not a toy.
