Ashton

Meet Ashton, a handsome 4-year-old, 88-pound Yellow Labrador Retriever with a heart as big as his paws! Ashton is a happy and energetic boy who found himself looking for a new adventure when his family moved. He's adjusting wonderfully, though, and is eager to find his forever home. Ashton's favorite pastime is a good game of fetch – he'll enthusiastically bring the ball right back for another toss! He thrives on activity and loves being by his people's side. While he's a strong boy who sometimes forgets his size, his sweet nature shines through. He's also made friends with other dogs at the shelter, showing he can be quite the social butterfly.

Ideal Home

Ashton is looking for a family who will commit to him for life and provide the stability he deserves. He would love an active home where he can play fetch and enjoy plenty of time with his humans.

Ongoing Health

Ashton is currently heartworm positive and will receive treatment at our shelter. Moving forward, he will need a family committed to keeping him on monthly heartworm prevention and ensuring he receives regular veterinary care to stay happy and healthy.

Training & Support

Ashton is a strong boy who is still learning to manage his size. With patience and consistency, he will continue to be a wonderful companion.
