Gigi is a beautiful 3-year-old, 40lb Staffordshire Terrier mix with a heart full of love and a spirit ready for adventure! She was rescued as a stray in Saltillo, Mexico, after a difficult experience where she required extensive medical care due to coagulation issues during her spay surgery. Despite a challenging start, Gigi is a fighter and has overcome her health struggles, though her hind legs were initially weak. Now, she's looking for a family to cherish and protect, and in return, she promises unwavering loyalty and affection. Gigi is described as friendly, affectionate, loyal, gentle, playful, smart, protective, brave, curious, independent, funny, athletic, quiet, dignified, loving, sweet, joyful, beautiful, mellow, caring, cheerful, obedient, patient, cuddly, devoted, sensitive, eager to please, silly, snuggly, entertaining, warm, and intelligent. She also gets along well with other dogs!
Ideal Home
Gigi would thrive in a home with owners who have a fenced backyard and enjoy outdoor activities. Families experienced with her breed, who understand the needs and behaviors of rescued animals and are patient and have high tolerance for a rescued dog, will be a perfect fit.
Ongoing Health
Gigi has been spayed, vaccinated with DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella, and dewormed. She has also tested negative for heartworm and is up-to-date on her monthly Nexgard Spectra (fleas, ticks, and heartworm) preventive. She has a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Please note that Gigi is not house-trained. Rescued pets often require time, patience, and consistent training to adjust to new routines and environments.

- A virtual meet-and-greet will be arranged to allow you to meet Gigi and for us to ensure a safe environment.
- A trial adoption period will follow, with clear instructions for integration and ongoing communication.
Transportation
Gigi is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast via our cross-country transport service. The transport fee of $400.00 is the responsibility of the adopter and is to be paid prior to the pet's departure.
