Sunny

Sunny is a Golden Retriever/Pyr mix who is approaching a year old. She's had many apps due to being a fluffy, golden mix, but we are seeking her perfect family as she has some needs that require a special placement. She is very nervous on leash and will require a physically fenced-in yard and a family that will be patient while she learns how to navigate a leash and harness and learns to walk on leash. She has separation anxiety and will need a family that works from home or is home more often than not. She is working on her manners including not jumping up on her people, so we recommend a home with older kids and we don't recommend a home with elderly owners as she could easily knock over young children or an elder. She is good with other dogs and we will only place her in a home with another dog. She is also fine with cats. She is a very sweet pup but will need a patient owner who can accommodate her needs and work through her quirks. We ask that you not apply for Sunny if you don't fit the requirements outlined- a fenced in yard is a non-negotiable for Sunny and we will not adopt her into a home without a fully-fenced yard and we do not include e-collars in the fence category. We do not require fences for all our dogs and have many great dogs looking for homes so, if you are interested in Sunny but don't fit her requirements, we encourage you to fill out an application to adopt one of our other amazing dogs.
