Soft-eyed, soulful, and quietly full of love... this is Pippa Love. She has one of those faces that makes you pause for a second, and then those eyes take over completely. They are the kind of eyes that look like they could keep your secrets and your whole life story with understanding and love. Pippa has a calm, tender presence about her, and while she likes to take it a little slower at first, there is something very special waiting on the other side of that trust. Pippa Love is estimated to be around 2.5 years old and weighs 66 lbs. She appears to be a Catahoula and Pittie mix, though with rescue, breed and age are always our best guess. What we do know is that she is a loving girl with a gentle spirit, a calm way about her, and the kind of sweetness that feels even more meaningful because it is earned slowly and honestly.
Ideal Home
Pippa would do well in a home with a medium-energy dog who enjoys a little running and play, especially one who can help show her the ropes without overwhelming her. She would also likely enjoy a home with a yard or a quieter, more suburban-style apartment setting where she can settle in at her own pace.
Ongoing Health
All vetting is up to date, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. She has also had a heartworm test and treatment if needed.
Training & Support
Pippa is easygoing and enjoyable on leash, preferring leisurely strolls and guided sweet talk over stern pressure. Harsh corrections or a stern voice are not recommended. Confidence with new routines or places is built through kindness and patience. With other dogs, Pippa takes introductions slowly but warms up to playful, light-hearted interaction. She adjusts her play style to suit other dogs and does not overcorrect or overmanage in playgroups.
