Nala

Nala is a 6-month-old, 47lb bundle of joy with an estimated full-grown weight of around 90lbs. She's a lovable goofball who was originally adopted as a puppy but was returned because her previous family didn't have enough time to help her burn off her puppy energy. Thankfully, she's now with us and ready for her forever home! Nala has bursts of energy, followed by long naps, ideally close to her favorite people. She's a big lovebug who, thanks to her Great Dane heritage, is blissfully unaware of her size and how much bigger she'll get. Her paws are already bigger than her 80lb doggy friend Bella's! Nala gets along well with other dogs and is a gentle giant, eager to make friends. She's working on her interactions with smaller dogs, showing her playful nature with play bows and gentle kisses.

Ideal Home

Nala would thrive in a home where someone can be with her most of the time. She needs a family committed to continuing her training to ensure she grows into a well-mannered adult.

Ongoing Health

Nala has received a wellness visit and is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. The adoption fee covers her spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.

Training & Support

Nala is eager to please and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement training.
