Loveable Lila, a Senior Sweetheart!

Lila is a beautiful, 75-pound senior girl, approximately 10 years old, who is ready to spend her golden years in a loving forever home. She is fully vetted—spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. Lila is house trained and kennel trained, rides well in the car, and has excellent manners. She has a sweet, endearing habit of thinking she’s a lap dog despite her size, and she loves simple pleasures like roasted chicken treats and refreshing ice water. An owner surrender, Lila is now living her best life in foster care, but what she truly wants is a home to call her own. Lila is wonderful with people—lovable, obedient, and loyal. She also makes a great watch dog, keeping a gentle eye on her surroundings while remaining calm and affectionate with those she trusts.

Ideal Home

Because she was not well socialized with other dogs earlier in life, Lila would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can feel secure and relaxed.

Ongoing Health

Lila is living with mammary cancer, but she continues to enjoy life and has so much love to give. She is considered a special needs dog.

Training & Support

Lila has excellent manners and is house and kennel trained. She is described as obedient and loyal.
