Reggie

Meet Reggie! This handsome boy has had a rough start, but he's ready to leave his past behind and find a loving forever home. Reggie was found abandoned and significantly underweight, with some concerning hair loss. While his hair hasn't fully grown back on his back end due to past skin damage, he's otherwise healthy and thriving. He's a food-motivated guy who has gained a good amount of weight and is now up-to-date on all his vaccinations and heartworm testing.

Ideal Home

Reggie would do best in a home where he can receive plenty of love and attention. He enjoys the company of another dog and is tolerant of cats. He needs a home that understands his past and can help him continue to build confidence.

Ongoing Health

Reggie's hair loss on his back end is permanent due to past skin damage. He'll need sunblock in the summer and sweaters in the colder months to stay comfortable.

Training & Support

Reggie is still a bit food aggressive and is fed separately from other dogs. He also likes to "rufferee" during play, so guidance on appropriate play interaction would be beneficial. He is described as house-trained.
