Hot Potato is pure puppy energy in motion! At five months old, he's bold, goofy, and endlessly entertained by absolutely everything around him. Toys, people, shadows, leaves – everything is exciting, and he meets it all with enthusiasm and zero hesitation. He’s the puppy who keeps things lively and turns ordinary moments into something funny just by being himself. Hot Potato loves people deeply in a very animated way, greeting the world like it's his long-lost best friend. He's wiggly, expressive, and full of joy, with no concept of personal space in the most endearing puppy way. After bursts of play, he's just as quick to flop over and demand belly rubs. There's a big heart behind all that energy; he's social, affectionate, and eager to connect, wanting to be involved, included, and part of the action. With consistency and structure, he will grow into a fun, loyal, and incredibly engaging companion who keeps life active and full of laughter.

Ongoing Health
All vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative, have been completed. He has also had a heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Our on-site trainers assess every animal, modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking. Fosters attend group training and socialization playgroups.

Transporation
Hot Potato is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
