Jimmy, a 1.5-year-old neutered male Pitbull Terrier mix weighing 45 pounds, is a bundle of joy ready to bring boundless energy and affection into your life! He's currently in a foster home in Houston, Texas. Jimmy is a happy-go-lucky boy who loves making friends with both humans and other dogs. His tail wags at a mile a minute when he greets new people, and he's always up for a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or wrestling with a canine companion.
Ideal Home
Jimmy would thrive in an active home that provides plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. He'd love a work-from-home human or an active family who will include him in daily life. Another playful dog could be a great match, especially if they enjoy high-energy play. He may be too enthusiastic for very young children without supervision, and has not been tested with cats but might chase them.

Training & Support
Jimmy is fully house-trained with only minor early adjustment issues. Crate training is a work in progress, but he is making great strides. He can be left alone for moderate periods (4-6 hours), especially with another dog. Jimmy is still polishing his leash manners, as he can pull when excited and is very curious about his surroundings. With consistency and some solo walks, he will continue to improve quickly, as he is very food and praise-motivated and eager to learn. He does not exhibit resource guarding, though he does think every toy is the best toy.
