Meet Batley -- a gentle, easygoing staffy who is simply looking for a soft place to land.
At 35 pounds, Batley is the perfect size for a couch companion, and that's truly her favorite place to be--snuggled up рядом with her person, content and at peace. She has a calm, quiet nature and a sweetness that shines through in everything she does.
Batley loves the simple things in life: a warm patch of sunshine, a good meal, and someone to share her space with. She's not demanding or high-energy--just happy to be near you, soaking up love and giving it right back.
If you're looking for a low-key, loving companion who will bring calm and comfort into your home, Batley is ready to be your girl. Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.
Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.
Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM.
All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet.
Fees:
Dogs over 6 months old: $100
Puppies under 6 months: $200.
Cats and Kittens are $75 ($65 without microchip).
For your convenience you can fill out an adoption application for any of our current residents at www.moaspets.com. Join us on Facebook at

We are located at:

NOTE: Our adoptions are first come first served, simply filling out an application does not mean the animal will be held for you, you must come meet the animal in person in order to be considered for adoption.
If you rent you must bring your lease or a letter from your landlord stating you may adopt.
