Perla Honey would thrive in a home that appreciates quieter, simpler moments, valuing cozy evenings and meaningful companionship over being the "party house." She would love leisurely neighborhood walks and curling up beside you at night. A home with a backyard would be ideal, rather than an apartment in a busy city. She truly embodies relaxed, peaceful vibes.

Perla Honey is believed to be a lab mix, approximately 4 years old and weighs 55 lbs. As with any rescue, breed and age are not guaranteed.
Training & Support
Perla Honey is not high energy and does a beautiful job matching the energy of the room. She is crate trained, potty trained, and has shown to have wonderful house manners. She knows a handful of basic commands such as "sit" and "shake," and she is mastering her leash skills. Perla was respectful and appropriate when meeting a resident cat and did not show any signs of chasing or being bothered by typical cat behavior. We are happy to arrange a kitty sleepover upon request. While she can be a little shy at first when meeting new people and dogs, she quickly warms up and enjoys gentle play. We would love to see Perla in a home with at least one other dog, as she blossoms beautifully around her canine pals and would likely thrive in a multi-dog household.

- The adoption fee is $1000, which includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high-quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship).

Transporation
Perla Honey is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
