Archie

Meet Archie! This approximately 3-year-old Pit Bull has a heart as big as he is. He's a lovable goofball who is the perfect mix of calm, cuddly, and silly. His favorite place to be is right next to his person, whether that's snuggled up on the couch, sleeping beside you, or rolling onto his back for one of his signature upside-down naps while snoring. Archie loves people and thrives on affection. He's the kind of dog who will happily spend his day following you around the house, leaning in for pets, and making you smile with his goofy personality. One of his favorite hobbies is rubbing himself along the couch and making himself comfortable wherever his family is. When he's not cuddling, Archie enjoys chewing and "de-stuffing" toys with great enthusiasm. Durable toys are definitely his favorite! Archie does well with children and has been friendly with other dogs. While he hasn't been tested with cats yet, that can be arranged if needed.

Archie would love a family who will appreciate his affectionate nature and embrace his goofy quirks. He is looking for a loyal best friend and expert cuddle buddy.

Training & Support

Archie doesn't love being confined to a kennel or a room and may cry or howl at first. However, he does much better when contained in a room and is learning that being alone is okay. With patience, consistency, and a family willing to continue helping him build confidence, Archie continues to make progress.
