Raven is my name, and like my namesake, I appreciate my own space, though I did raise a litter of puppies when I arrived at the rescue! I was rescued from the streets, and the trapper who found me actually wasn't even looking for me that day, but I'm so glad they saved me!

I'm a beautiful, big, and solid girl with a striking black and brindle coat. I am a loving companion, but I show it in my own way. Having lived on the streets for an unknown amount of time, I'm not a cuddly lap dog, or even a dog who wants to be by your feet... yet. I have so much love to give, and I dream of a patient person who will love me for who I am and help me become the best dog I can be! I'm great on a leash and enjoy exploring the world around me. I am good with other dogs and would likely do best with a calm and confident canine friend. I do have a Shepherd's double coat, so I will shed, and a good vacuum cleaner and a tolerance for dog hair are a must!

Ideal Home

A home with a patient owner who understands my need for space and will help me build confidence. I would do well with another calm and confident dog. A great vacuum cleaner and a tolerance for shedding are also necessary!

Ongoing Health

I am spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

I am house-trained, but I am still learning to be a cuddly companion and may need encouragement to be more of a lap dog. I walk well on a leash.
