Mopsey Topsey is a tiny retired beauty queen who still believes she's the main character! This little girl is equal parts doll, comedian, socialite, and diva. One minute she's carrying around a toy like the happiest dog on earth, the next she's giving you a look that says she's not impressed with your life choices. Mopsey has enough personality packed into her 12 lb body to entertain an entire household. She is approximately 8 years old, though she may be a little older. She may be a Shih Tzu mix, but with rescue, it's always a mystery. She is fun, lively, goofy, affectionate, and just the right amount of sassy. She approaches every day with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a healthy dose of confidence. She loves stuffy toys and is more than happy entertaining herself with a toy while also making sure everyone knows how much fun she's having. Mopsey is crate trained, potty trained, and has already mastered the basics of home life.
Ideal Home
Mopsey would thrive with someone who appreciates a dog with character. She enjoys canine company but certainly doesn't need another dog in the home to be happy. She'd do best with easygoing dogs that can laugh off a little diva behavior and aren't bothered by her occasionally changing her mind. She met our house cat Biggie and was very respectful around him. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for her to have a sleepover with a cat upon request.

Transporation
Mopsey is located in the Greater Houston area. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
