Dusty

Dusty is a handsome 2-year-old boy who weighs between 70 and 80 pounds. He has come such a long way from being a scared stray! Dusty is extremely loyal and longs to bond with his human. He and his companion, Opal, are incredibly well-behaved on the leash and even stayed with a volunteer who fell, ensuring she was okay before continuing their walk. Dusty has also been snake avoidance trained and has a natural instinct for it. He and Opal are in magnificent condition and would make wonderful service dogs.

Ideal Home

Dusty would do best in a ranch or farm home, ideally with Opal, as they are used to being together. They would thrive with humans who can provide them with the love and bonding they so desperately want.

Ongoing Health

Dusty is in magnificent condition. He has been snake avoidance trained.

Training & Support

Dusty is excellent on the leash and has shown great loyalty and care towards humans. He is already house-trained and has learned a lot during his time in rescue. A donor has offered up to $500 to help pay for a dog trainer for Dusty's adopter.
