Miles

Miles is a beautiful 5-year-old Labrador Retriever who came to us just before Christmas. While Miles is insulin-dependent and requires twice-daily injections, he's a very good boy for his medication. He can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but he quickly forms a strong, loving bond. Miles is quiet, house-trained, and surprisingly not hyper for his age and breed. He adores chewing on a Benebone and loves to be close to his person, no matter what they're doing.

Ideal Home

Miles would thrive in a home where he can spend most of the day with his person, receiving the attention and love he craves. He gets along well with calm, friendly dogs who are not overly alpha.

Ongoing Health

Miles is an insulin-dependent diabetic. His diabetes has been well-regulated since coming into rescue, and he is thriving. He will come to you with enough food, insulin, and needles to get you started.

Training & Support

Miles is already house-trained. He is a quiet companion who enjoys simply being near his human.
