Jupiter

Jupiter is a handsome Anatolian Shepherd with an estimated age of five years. He's a well-trained boy who walks nicely on a leash and has excellent house manners. Jupiter embodies many of the wonderful traits of his breed, including a strong protective nature towards his people. He was happy to have a laid-back canine companion in his foster home and they got along well.

Ideal Home

Jupiter can be a bit reserved around unfamiliar dogs on walks and may show some defensiveness towards strange men. However, he has shown a willingness to warm up and has bonded with our male volunteers. A home environment where he feels secure and can be slowly introduced to new people and situations would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Jupiter is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

While Jupiter is generally well-behaved, his protective instincts mean he might not always be comfortable meeting other dogs while out and about. His gentle interactions with our male volunteers suggest that patience and positive introductions can help him build trust.
