Meet Tori!
Tori is a 2-year-old, 31lb mixed breed with a spirit as bright as sunshine. Despite a tough start in life and a previous return to the shelter through no fault of her own, Tori greets everyone with a wagging tail and a smile. She was previously an outdoor dog in a neglectful situation but has blossomed into a sweet, affectionate girl who adores people and children. She loves to be involved in everything and is always ready with kisses and a friendly greeting. Her enthusiasm can sometimes lead to jumping when excited, but with consistent exercise and positive reinforcement, she'll be a well-behaved companion. Tori is an active dog who would thrive with a family that enjoys walks, playtime, and adventures. She's the perfect medium size, small enough for most homes but big enough for fun outings. Tori is not a fan of cats and would do best in a feline-free home. We're unsure of her compatibility with other dogs, so a meet-and-greet is required if you have canine companions. Tori is mostly potty-trained and eager to please, so she'll likely adapt quickly to a new routine with a little patience. Tori is looking for a loving, forever family to call her own.
Ideal Home
Tori would love an active family that enjoys walks, playtime, and adventures. She would do best in a home without cats. A meet-and-greet is required if you have other dogs.
Ongoing Health
Tori is spayed, heartworm and Lyme negative, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.
Training & Support
Tori may jump when excited, but with regular exercise, consistency, and positive reinforcement, she will be very well-behaved. She is mostly potty trained and eager to please, so she'll adapt well to a new routine with patience.

- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- Once your application is received, a staff member will review it and contact you to schedule a meet-and-greet.
- If you have dogs at home, they must attend the meet-and-greet.
- If it's a good fit, you may take your new best friend home the same day!
- We also offer a 2-week foster-to-adopt trial period.
