Dorothy

Dorothy is a sweet girl who came to us with her siblings after being surrendered due to difficult living conditions. She was initially a bit skinny and scared, but with a lot of love and patience, she's blossoming! Dorothy has been living in a foster home where she's had plenty of opportunities to explore and play. She's getting used to her surroundings, enjoying lots of toys, and even getting acquainted with the farm animals like other dogs, cats, and chickens! When she's inside, she's learning to use her own crate but also loves to playfully try and snag big dog beds. She has a particular favorite big dog friend she loves to wrestle with.

Dorothy can be a bit of a middle child, sometimes enjoying playtime with her siblings, other times needing a moment to herself in a corner. However, once she decides she wants some love, she'll snuggle in close and give the best cuddles!

Ideal Home

Dorothy is doing well with other dogs, cats, and has even been exposed to chickens. She has also interacted positively with children. A home that can provide her with plenty of opportunities to play and explore would be wonderful.

Ongoing Health

Dorothy is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been treated for worms and flea/tick prevention. She will be spayed and microchipped prior to finalization of her adoption.

Training & Support

Dorothy is learning to navigate new environments and enjoys playing. She is also learning to use a crate indoors.
