Ferrari is a charming 3-year-old, 50 lb dog with a friendly disposition and medium energy levels. He enjoys leisurely days spent napping, sunbathing, or simply observing his humans go about their day. Ferrari is believed to be good with dogs, cats, and children, though he tends to ignore the cats in his foster home. He lights up with excitement at the sight of a school bus, hinting at a past filled with welcoming children home from school.
Ferrari is generally quiet, becoming more animated around walk times and meal preparation. He may vocalize a bit when left alone, but his foster family is actively working on this. He's a well-behaved boy who doesn't chew or damage belongings, and he knows how to entertain himself with his toys. Ferrari is already a pro at commands like "sit," "lie down," and "come," and he's eager to continue learning. While he's still perfecting his off-leash manners, he's making great progress. This enthusiastic pup absolutely adores car rides, hugs, and meeting new people, treating everyone like an old friend! He's up for long hikes, though he's still gaining experience, he's a quick learner. Due to his tendency to overheat, he'll need some protective clothing when temperatures rise above 80°F, along with plenty of water. He even enjoys carrying his own water in his backpack on hikes! On shorter outings, a water bottle will be handy when it's warm. Ferrari is also comfortable in his crate if his family needs to go out without him. He's house-trained and crate-trained, though he may cry when left alone initially, a calm voice can help settle him. He'd be a wonderful companion for a busy family or one that's home more often.

Ferrari can overheat easily and will require clothing and water when the temperature is above 80°F.

Ferrari is house-trained and crate-trained. He is working on not crying when left alone. He knows basic commands like "sit," "lie down," and "come." He is not yet perfect off-leash but is improving daily.
