Sadie. Sweet dog

Meet Sadie, a sweet and friendly Golden Doodle who was retired from breeding and is now ready to find her forever home! Sadie was born on March 5, 2021, and weighs about 75 lbs. She's a happy girl who gets along with everyone and doesn't cause any issues. She's also crate trained and has good leash manners. Sadie will need to be professionally groomed regularly due to her breed.

Ideal Home

Sadie would likely thrive with a fenced-in yard, but we are open to discussing options if you don't currently have one. Please have any upcoming vacations planned and completed before applying to adopt Sadie.

Ongoing Health

Sadie was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism, which is why her hair was thinning. She is now on daily thyroid medication (administered twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening) for the rest of her life. This medication typically costs around $25-$30 per month. Her hair is expected to grow back as her thyroid medication takes effect. She also received an injectable antibiotic for some mild skin redness as a precautionary measure. All of Sadie's veterinary records will go home with her, and her new family will need to schedule a follow-up T4 thyroid check 4-6 weeks after February 11, 2026.

Sadie is crate trained and has good leash skills. She is a follower and loves to be by your side!

The adoption fee is $495, and payment is not due until you meet Sadie and are comfortable with her veterinary care.

Transporation

Sadie is located in Antwerp, Ohio. Transport is available to Maumee, Ohio, every other Wednesday morning if needed. Approved families are always welcome to visit Sadie in Antwerp.
