Aria is a gorgeous 2.5-year-old, 40 lb Pit Bull Terrier mix with beautiful eyes and a soft coat. She's intelligent, playful, and has a wonderful "big sister" mentality. Aria loves making doggy friends and is currently living with many dogs of various shapes and sizes, whom she adores. She's especially fond of playmates who match her energy and size. Aria enjoys showing younger dogs how to play and has even been known to clean their ears, showing her nurturing side. She's treat-motivated and eager to please, having already mastered "Sit" and "Come." Aria is a social butterfly who loves to share her toys and treats. Her favorite toy is a little orange ball, and she enjoys a good game of fetch or entertaining herself in the yard with chew toys. While independent, Aria is also incredibly affectionate and loves to give kisses. She enjoys her daily walks and is working on her leash manners.
Ideal Home
A calm home with at least one other dog of similar size and play style. A couple looking for devoted companions would be ideal. A yard is highly recommended for her to explore and enjoy. She would thrive in a quiet country setting or a peaceful neighborhood, away from excessive hustle and bustle.
Ongoing Health
Aria's vetting includes DAPP vaccinations, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), deworming, flea prevention, and heartworm preventative. She has also received extended medical care as needed, including dental, eye, and orthopedic procedures if recommended by vets. She is microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Aria is intelligent and treat-motivated, making her a joy to train. She already knows "Sit" and "Come." Her forever family will need to have experience in dog handling to continue working on her leash manners. She can be vocal, using her voice as a personal alarm system.

Transporation
Aria is available for adoption in NV, MT, CO, UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and the East Coast. She will be transported to her new home via a USDA-licensed semi-truck with air conditioning and attendants for comfort and care, or a private, air-conditioned 3LP-run van for East Coast routes. Transport pick-up locations can be coordinated with an Adoption Coordinator.
