YOUR FUTURE BEST GIRL!
Meet Cameron, a happy, goofy sweetheart who's been waiting for her perfect person. While she's been waiting, she's been working hard in a 4-week board-and-train program to become the best girl for her future family!
Cameron is an estimated 5-year-old spayed female with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. She's housebroken, crate-trained, eager to please, and loves to learn. She already knows commands like sit, down, heel, stay, wait, eat, no, and crate (pen), and she's continuing to build confidence, manners, and skills through professional training.
This sweet girl loves people, car rides, walks, cuddle time, and play sessions. Cameron enjoys chewing on toys (Benebones, plush toys, frozen Kongs), relaxing with TV, and even snacking on garden veggies like cucumbers!
Cameron has medium energy and would love a home where she can enjoy daily walks, adventures, and ideally a fenced yard to stretch her legs. She's polite at mealtime, great for baths and nail trims, and isn't much of a barker.
Cameron is still learning appropriate manners around other dogs, so she would likely do best as the only dog in the home while continuing to build on her training and confidence.
Cameron came to us as a stray and was placed on the urgent rescue list due to kennel stress and skin issues. Since then, she has made an incredible transformation and blossomed into the joyful, loving dog she is today.
After more than a year waiting for someone to choose her, Cameron is preparing for her next chapter, and we're hopeful that when her training program is complete, she can head straight into the forever home she deserves.
Could Cameron be the missing piece to your family?
